This program is an implementation of my honours project for the School
of Computer Science and Software Engineering.
The project is to integrate an intelligent agent into a News Client
which in this case is JavaNews.
The program sets up a User Profile which is used to retrieve articles
and filter them into different categories using some simple heuristics
provided by Jess (Java Expert System Shell).
These categories include:
Flames (articles of
a derogatory nature) which have a symbol of a flame next to them.
"Me Too" articles
which are articles that are agreeing with a posted article without contributing
anything to the discussion.
Finally examining
the formality of the articles by scanning for slang words, casual phrases
and swear words.
